Jana Vass (she/her) embodies the intersection of a first-generation Australian of Carpathian-Rusyn and Hungarian heritage, navigating life and work in Wurundjeri Country (Melbourne, Victoria).

Fuelled by a passion for the arts and a commitment to activism, she has collaborated with companies such as kwento, the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP), Kings Cross Theatre (KXT), Redline Productions, and others. Her projects involve Ate Lovia (2022), The Linden Solution (2021), April Aardvark (2019), Van De Maar Papers (2019), Extinction of the Learned Response (2019), and many more. She is currently the Programs Coordinator at Screen Australia and an external assessor for Regional Arts Australia.

As her career progresses, sheโ€™s seeking new prospects in areas such as executive arts leadership or governance and policy within the communications and creative sectors.
