Jana Vass (she/her) embodies the intersection of a first-generation Australian with Carpathian-Rusyn and Hungarian roots, navigating life and work in Wurundjeri Country (Melbourne, Victoria).

Fuelled by a passion for the arts and a commitment to activism, she has been able to collaborate with companies such as kwento, the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP), Kings Cross Theatre (KXT), Redline Productions, and more. She is currently the Programs Coordinator at Screen Australia, working with the Program Operations team and overseeing the First Nations and Documentary departments.

She's studying for a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law at Monash University. While her career grows, she’s seeking new challenges in areas across arts leadership, cultural policy, workplace relations, or law.
